Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! This year, I’m thankful for my senses:
- Sight, so I can explore the world through my eyes and my camera and share our adventures with you all. The best sight I’ve seen this past year is the first ultrasound of Peanut.
- Taste, so I can try new foods and develop healthier recipes to share. The best meals I’ve had this past year have been the simple ones that Minhan makes at home.
- Smell, which plays a huge role in how food tastes. Also, with all of the outdoor adventures we’ve had over the past year, there’s nothing like smelling crisp, clean air.
- Sound, so I can enjoy the voice of nature and be aware of coyotes, hyenas, and mountain lions when I’m doing astrophotography. The best thing I’ve heard this past year is the sound of Peanut’s heartbeat.
- Touch, so I can feel the wind on my face and the light spray of water from waterfalls. I’m looking forward to feeling Peanut kicking around soon!
Of course, I’m thankful for all of you for coming along for the ride. I’m really grateful to have come into such a supportive community! Here are a couple of pictures from our dinner (missing is the pie, which is still in the fridge!):
I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!
Thanks this year for the health, the energy, the love and big thanks for the up coming year for a new member of our family in March…😉
Love it!
